Requests?

Once I created this blog, people continued asking for my input on certain health situations or requesting specific work outs. I will be working on adding them as soon as possible. If there are any others, please don't hesitate to ask! I will get you the hook up ;)

  1. Hi Jocelyn,
I have recently released an iPad app named "Too Fit To Quit" and iPhone App "2 Fit 2 Quit". Like you, I love health and fitness and live in Florida. I am sure you are an inspiration to many. For your serious weightlifter friend, they will find these apps very helpful. The iPad app was released last week and is in the Top 10 apps in Healthcare & Fitness.
    Take Care,
    Kevin

  2. Jocelyn,

I am really curious about energy drinks and protein drinks. Do you have any knowledge on that? I know after guys workout they are always drinking their energy and protein drinks. How come girls are not the same way? Maybe it would be interesting to research how to find the right fitness drink for your workout and which ones are best for guys and which ones are best for girls.

  3. Hey Jocelyn!

Whenever I go to the gym, I always feel dumb because I am not too certain on which levels I should operate my machines on. If I go to high, I don't want to wear myself out so easily. On the other hand, if I go too low, I don't want to go so low that my workout does not have much impact. Maybe a post on basic workout machines and appropriates levels to get the job done for basic cardio workouts?

    Thanks,

    Eileen

  4. Jen, that is a very good question! To be honest, I drink protein after I work out too. The protein shakes are what help the body repair. After working out, there is a little bit of damage done to the body and it affects everything. The protein is a repairing agent and helps build muscle. A lot of woman worry about gaining weight, but if you try a light protein drink then you are fine :)

  5. You got it, Eileen! I will work on adding some of that info. You should take your time with working out. If you can dedicate 15 minutes a day, then that's plenty! Not everyone has the time or endurance to last two hours in the gym. Lol. I'll get some information up for you to check out!
